Columbia JVBC 2019-2020 Season

Columbia 17-Black Vegas ValentineColumbia 17-Black broke the club record (and we aren't talking about parent gambling here) for the highest finish yet at the Las Vegas Classic.

The 17-Black ladies were within one match win Sunday night of claiming a spot in the Gold bracket at the elite 260-team U-17 field in Las Vegas. Their quarterfinal appearance in the Silver A bracket on President's day landed them at #25 overall. This was the first top 25 finish by a Columbia team among the powerhouse clubs from across the nation.

Columbia continues to climb in status as an elite volleyball program for our players and families. Our results are built on the foundation laid by years of players, coaches, and parents who have worked to make our club a success. We're excited to see what Columbia's future will show, and our younger players have great players to follow.

Congratulations to all of you! We'll see you (and many of our 18-Black players back again in Las Vegas next year to push our record even higher!)

Note: Columbia 17-Black drew at least one mention from PrepVolleyball.com while in Vegas... "Columbia 17 Black and fine setter Morgan Kline"
